While I personally disagree that Braves is on its face “racist,” it has caused a conversation around race.

And, there are very few better to name your team after than Hank Aaron if you are trying to address that conversation.

Better than the Atlanta Chippers I guess.

I think Hammers is really great.

I'd say betting odds favor Kings as it's a nod to both Aaron and MLK.

i could be wrong, but i think the bigger issue was the imagery of the mascot, more so than the name (obviously the two are interconnected tho)
