I am all for it.
Tangentially, I am also all for redesigned paper bills. We're falling behind.

Since we are doing this for political reasons, i'd rather Douglass. Or MLK.
But i'm good with Andrew loosing his spot.

Like, really behind. Looks ancient compared to the currency in Euros, Rands, Kronas and many more.

MLK, yes
don’t think i could be convinced Douglas is necessarily more “deserving” than Tubman

I also like the idea of moving away from just Dead Presidents. They are certainly worthy, but I wouldn't mind seeing multiple people, including civilians, per denomination.

Lincoln, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin all make sense, for me, to stay.
Jackson and Grant are replaceable.

My problem with Hamilton and Franklin on U.S. currency is that I truly believe 25% or more of Americans think one or both of them were President/s.

Probably.
And i'd also be fine with taking Franklin off and replacing him with Jefferson.
But then we loose the whole meme/culture reference to Benjamins.

Edison, Einstein, the American Bison, Mt. Rushmore, the American Alligator...even a goddamn Prairie Chicken would be kinda cool
Costa Rica has some of the most beautiful currency i’ve seen

Seems there is room for opportunity there. I remember in probably pre-K being taught about money and being told that is George Washington's face, etc. More faces could be good: This is Harriet Tubman, abolitionist hero, here's Ben Franklin, not a president but important founding father, here's Alexander Hamilton, star of a hit Broadway show, here's Michael Jordan, divine basketball legend.

If you guys dont like your greenbacks, send em my way.
Why do we need weird, colorful, odd shaped currency?

i agree, that the color and shape need not change
i can see the push though to memorialize someone other than dead, rich white men

Need a design change? No. But, yes I want one after seeing all the cool designs around the world that have been implemented.
