It's a weird place

The Empire has a lot of weird stuff that goes on, but this group was way out there. Both Defix and I know the County Coroner, we may have to ask him what he saw out there. He told me one time he had seen some pretty weird stuff while doing that job, this one has to be way up near the top of the list. It looks like there will be one less cult in the neighborhood during Solstice.

Trump's appearance in their delusions is something I hadn't heard about them before.

I figured you had been following this story. I lost track of them after they were being kicked out of Hawaii. The Mummy of Moffat is a new twist to the story. I wonder how one could acquire the mummy of god.

Seems like a hell of a tourist attraction to me.

Wait, so if I quit my job in my 30s and self-medicate on booze and weed then people will worship me too?!

On that note, I’m moving to The Empire ASAP.

With only a few weeks to go, that seems like an unreasonable timeline for acquisition of such an infamous cadaver. But we already have the makings for some interesting memento mori.

We have the death bed of Leroy "Satchel" Paige. It was about to be tossed into a metal recycling container as his house renovation was in the clean out phase. The contractor had rights of salvage and he transferred those to me for this item. Buck O'Neal famously described Paige's pitching as "He threw fire". The bedsprings went through a fire and that is how I acquired it. After it is finished as an installation piece it will be called "Thru Fire".

We also have a stainless steel filter section of a large oven hood that has a mummified cat and pigeon attached to it. We were taking the hood apart for scrap and this pair was inside. From what we have guessed, the cat crawled inside the hood because it heard the pigeon flopping around inside and was intending to eat it. It also became entrapped and died inside the hood. The two mummified bodies are in a pose that looks like they were curled up together comforting one another when they died. No working title for this object yet but it will probably be built into a shrine of some sort.
