The unsanitary stuff: dirty dishes piled up in the sink, the baby hi-chair covered in crumbs, spoiled produce rotting in the fridge, etc.

The clutter stuff: kitchen table and counters covered with random shit, unfolded piles of (dirty?) laundry all over the bedroom, hundreds of bottles of nail polish and lotion and personal products all over the bathroom, baby toys EVERYWHERE

The unfinished project stuff: power tools laying around the living room, nails and screws and scrap wood strewn around the yard, don’t even bother going in the garage

The disrepair stuff: light fixtures that don’t work and have bare wires just kinda hanging there, doors that won’t close, cabinet doors falling off the hinges if they even have a door

The sporting goods wtf stuff: clay pigeons and shotgun shells on the bed stand, fishing gear piled in the bathtub

Who the eff are these people? Oh yeah, wait for it - a former coworker friend who was a housekeeping manager at a high end resort.

And the worst part is, they didn’t even leave the bong for me to use.

lol. I'm house sitting my younger brother's and girlfriends house in west shawnee. It's immaculate and very nice (built in 2014). Only problem is there are no big trees around, so as soon as you walk outside, the sun is beating down on you. But I plan to test out his new smoker this weekend (traeger I think) and drink all his beer. Worst part is watering all his girlfriends plants all over the house (inside and outside).

That sounds rad.

Sure, make the 10 or so hour drive and crash here. There's 5 bedrooms. We can get some of the trikes out and rip around the neighborhood. I might take one to Perry Lake this weekend for a few hours. I don't have a truck, but I can borrow my Dad's Honda Ridgeline.

ours is a unique situation, as we’ve got critters aside from the pups that can’t go with us on vacation, so whomever house sits has to literally be trained. not sure what we’ll do now (MIL is back in midwest), but we’ve even considered buying the MIL a plane ticket just so she can house sit for us
