I went to the doctor today. That was so dumb. I was early so I asked if my wait would be long. “There is just one person in front of you” she said. but still I had to wait nearly an hour. I’m having a coughing fit and am very concerned for all the very old and frail people around me that I’m probably going to kill with pneumonia or something. What kind of medical waiting area doesn’t have a box of tissues around? I stood by the bathrooms so I could subdue my germ-spreading cough with copious amounts of water from the water fountain. I swear I would have weighed-in 2# lighter if not for all the water I drank in the waiting room. Mind you, if I had known the wait was so long, I would have gone outside to cough up a lung. But really, my random thought to share is why does tv in the waiting room play crap like the Dr. Phil show? I’m dying, killing innocent old people in the process, and we are all being forced to listen to parents and teenagers Yelling at each other about smoking weed on the damn tv. I didn’t know that show still existed nor that it has become a Jerry Springer type tabloid. We have a perfectly great free over-air station of cooking and gardening shows to zone out to.
Well, soon the old people will be dying from my germs and then the only ones left will be the youngins with our phones, so waiting room TVs can become a trivia question.
And no. I was tempted, but I did not dare touch the germ-infested magazines (and they had some good ones).

Yeah, Dr. Phil went downhill a long time ago. It was once an attempt to have discussions with normal people, but slowly became the next Springer.

Mrs 99 dragged me to the ER last year when I was very sick. It was disgusting, even for me. They made me wear a mask so I wouldn't infect the little children.

Found that out through the Dan Le Batard Show. Which by the way, is becoming my favorite show on TV and on radio. Listen to the podcast consistently. Not strictly sports radio, they dabble with things happening today and all that.
