Same. Macho nonsense that can go away any time.
Re: Bull Fighting
No different then rodeo's, it's animal cruelty.
Re: Bull Fighting
Rodeo animals are better taken care of then 99% if any other animal.

Re: Bull Fighting
We all know which choice you've made.
Re: Bull Fighting
both the cowboys and the stock contractors make their living with those animals. They arent treating them like shit. Ive been around a ton of rodeo and I know firsthand the care and attention that goes into those animals by both sides of the business.

Re: Bull Fighting
How much rodeo have you been involved with and how much of your "education" is an article by PETA?

Re: Bull Fighting
I don't think the point of rodeo is to stab the animals to death.

Re: Bull Fighting
calf roping is the only event/s i really take issue with
aside from having their nuts cinched tight, i don’t think the bulls or broncs are treated poorly in most cases
that said, the whole thing is rather silly these days since those skills are rarely needed out in the real world anymore. i grew up in rodeo, 4-H and the like, and would have zero issue if the sport went away
in my experience, what happens at a rodeo is a far cry from what actually happens on a working cow-calf ranch. that was true 20-30 years ago, and i’d imagine is even more true today with so many opting for ATVs over horses

Re: Bull Fighting
im sure its not super comfortable. but usually they quit bucking as soon as the weight off the rider is off
and with the broncs the pick-up men unbuckle the flank strap rigging as they are picking up the rider so its a 8-12 second venture.

Re: Bull Fighting
they're bred to buck. its part the flank strap and part just their nature.

Re: Bull Fighting
i know all of that
it doesn’t change my opinion one bit
and it’s ok...we can agree to disagree
