Definitely feels like the national pundits keep trying to include Allen, Burrows, Herbert, Jackson and the baseball player for Arizona in Mahomes’ category.

That's dumb. I like Herbert, though, but he's not as good as Mahomes.

Allen was great tonight, but he's not going to last long playing like that. 1 Super Bowl maybe.

People get bored with Mahomes. And try to find EVERYBODY that can hold a candle to him. Allen can, but Mahomes is the best and it’s not as close as what some think it is.

Exactly, until someone else does it, there is a huge gap between Mahomes and any other QB not named Brady or Rodgers.

I think Chiefs fans look for ways to feel slighted because it's in their DNA as midwestern fans on top of the demographic base going through a championship drought.

Meh, that doesn’t apply to me. I’ve seen my favorite teams win a Super Bowl, World Series, MLS Cup, NCAA Championship and Orange Bowl. I don’t feel slighted at all.

And I’m a big fan of Allen and Herbert. But, you got to do something first

Mahomes became yesterday's news a lot this year mostly because he has really pulled up the competition too. Herbert, Allen, Burrow. It was a great QB year. But tonight he was the best I have ever seen.

The 2nd best at anything is always close to the best. Allen is really, really good and there will be some games where he is better than Mahomes.

But Mahomes is just better. 13 freaking seconds to go.

Mahomes will get the chance to take out another one of those guys mentioned above next Sunday at 3.

Football is a team sport. O Lines matter. WRs/TEs matter. RBs matter. Plays getting called matter. Hard to compare in a meaningful way that's definitive. Both guys are elite. I give the edge to Mahomes because he's been doing it for years. 2 of the 3 or 4 best QBs in the game right now. I'd go Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen...but I'd still rather have brady over anyone but Mahomes. At least in the playoffs.

Nope. There has been some absolute nonsense said about Mahomes this season and especially in the last few weeks. No other QB with that resume would get the treatment he does.
