Seems he was originally called for a 2nd technical - but was reviewed and then NOT thrown out.

I think the Nets are going to be a problem for the top seeds in these playoffs.
In 76er news: didn't realize Thybuille will not be able to play in Toronto due to being unvaccinated. Embiid can't catch a break teammate wise.

I said the Celts shoulda lost that final game so they'd get to play Gutter's Bulls instead.
Pretty unfortunate for them they lost one of the better defenders in the league for at least the first round.

I have no beef with Miles Bridges. That being said, right or wrong, I feel the dude should 100% be suspended for more than a game or two - and forced to go through anger management "training".

That was dumb. Either keep your cool or throw your mouth piece more accurately so that it hits who is fucking with you and not a girl who was just standing there.
Props to him for trying to reach out and apologize. Thankfully she didn't seem hurt or upset.

Oubre is out.
DeVonte and Marcus play tomorrow for the 8th seed.

Agreed.
NBA and NCAA.
82 games is enough to determine standings.

3 of the most memorable/interesting things about the play in games - so far.
A Wolves fan tried to glue herself to the floor.
The Wolves celebrated like they won the championship and were rightfully attacked by MANY for doing as such.
Bridges threw his mouthguard at an asshole fan, missed him, it hit a girl/woman, and he was fined 50K for it.
Yep, I have to agree that the play in games are "dumb" - and unnecessary.
Last night I read someone suggesting there should be a new format.
The top 8 records in each conference make the playoffs. The #1 seed then gets to choose which team they want to face in the first round. Then the #2 team gets the second choice, and so on.
I don't think it's a terrible idea. Only major issue I can think of is that scheduling might be an issue based on if a hockey team plays in the same arena.

Of course KU drew USC with Evan freaking Mobley as their 6 seed. Warching him tonight in the NBA Playoffs and he is crazy talented.
Didn't it feel like KU drew brackets like that a freakishly large percentage of the time? It feels like we ran into more than our share of lower seeded teams that happened to have some NBA dudes or some other weird underseeding situation?
It really feels like we just got our payback from karma all loaded into one magical title run. I know there are more tests of our dedication and resolve ahead but it sure was nice to see a cluster of good things happen.
What an interesting crossroads KU basketball is at right now.

Trae Young is so good offensively.
This has been a great game. Capella went down late in first half with what looked like hyper extended knee. No John Collins. But Trae had a crazy 2nd half.
Future is bright for the Cavs. Mobley Sexton (hurt), Garland, Markannen and Allen. Fun squad to watch.

Yes, bad knee.
