Vivek ramaswamy
Don't know much about him yet but came across this campaign ad. And God damn he hit the nail on the head. Doubt he has much of a chance tho
Re: Vivek ramaswamy
So corny. Patriotism and religion being replaced by covidism and climatism... talk about ramping up the "psychological slavery that creates a new culture of fear in our country".

an anti-science platform?
lol
lol
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Re: Vivek ramaswamy
lol, ok
speaking from personal experience, working in the pharma industry doesn’t guarantee that someone is scientifically well-versed. nor does it guarantee that said person, should they happen to be highly versed in something like pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, has any clue about climate or epidemiology
to be clear, i didn’t click on randy’s link, but was instead responding to twocoach’s comment

Ah. You lol'ed out of ignorance.
Par.
Dad's an engineer. Mom's a geriatric psychiatrist. Wife's an MD (laryngologist). He graduated summa cum laude with an A.B. in biology from Harvard, winning the Bowdoin Prize. (And then a Yale JD).
Probably have a tough time making the case that he's "anti-"science.

if he’s railing against covid and climate change, i have no problem characterizing him as anti-scienceDCHawk1 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 22, 2023 11:50 am Ah. You lol'ed out of ignorance.

(good) science isn’t like religion, where you pick and choose what parts of it you believe/support

Ah. So..."(good) science" is that which you follow blindly.KUTradition wrote: ↑Wed Feb 22, 2023 12:04 pm

I'm not sure you're making the case you want to make.
Also, there's a difference between science and scientism. One is a methodology, while the other is a transcendental weltanschauung. "Covidism" and "climatism" fall on the wrong side of that line.

You should learn to write more clearly, then.
I can only judge you here by what you put down in 1s and 0s.
Also, where are Ousie and the condescension police when I need them?

Honestly, Park.
People thought Japhy was your best sock, but even in its heyday, it wasn't even close to this one.
