CBB Offseason 23

Post by pdub »

I don’t think we can be 7th with this lineup but then again I didn’t think we’d be a 1 seed with our lineup this season:

Assault with a deadly weapon means what?
In his case, whatever it means, he was released on 50k bond.

The way its worded doesn't feel like he shot or stabbed somebody. Id guess he just beat the shit out of someone with a bat or something

But I havent seen specifics

Assault with a deadly weapon is pretty complicated.

Nah, it is basically assaulting some one with anything that a reasonable person would consider potentially deadly.
“whatever that means”

If you got Mike Tyson's fists then I figure you're already deadly enough.
I don't think Mike would just give you his fists willingly.

Joke didn't go over well.
I meant, if you're beating someone with Mike Tyson's fists, that means you ripped them off of his body somehow, and that means you're already pretty deadly.

Wrong.

"I take my hand off to him." -- Mike Tyson, with just one of his malapropisms after losing to Lennox Lewis on an HBO/Showtime production.

(Same post-fight presser where he said he was going to "fade off into Bolivian.")
