Crimson/Blue Fest headcount 2023

I will need to order the dessert soon. We had 50+ people milling around at Solstice and it still took two days to kill that massive tres leches cake. But damn was it good. The chocoflan is easier to conquer as a smaller group.
So I need a firm headcount for food purposes. If you are coming, add to this post and state the number of people total in your party. Just because you mentioned before you were coming that does not mean you can skip this important step, confirmation.
I will be there with my dog Dok. Because of family health problems Annie will not be attending this year.
Carrie from Tulsa who is one of my business partners will be there as will Jayhawk Dave. Dave was at Solstice and his boyfriend brought him over and introduced him because he wanted to know about Crimson/Blue Fest.
First he wanted to vet me.
Q:"how many national championships has KU won in basketball and what were the years?"
At this point Annie did an eyeroll and took her leave of us nerds.
A;"four, 1952, 1988, 2008, 2022".
Dave:"you missed two."
Japhy:"no you jackass the Helms Trophies don't count, you can't count championships awarded by sports writers unless you are talking to MU fans."
A spirited debate ensued. We decided Jayhawk Dave was in.
Dana the Capo of the KC mafia in Saguache will be there because it is a party and Dana does not miss parties within 30 miles of Saguache.
So to recap; Japhy, Jayhawk Dave and Dana are in my immediate party. That makes three so far
Also let me know when you are rolling into the valley. I will get there either Thursday night July 27 or Friday morning July 28. There will be an art event party Saturday night at Bill's Big Party Garage and you are all welcome to attend. Sunday morning a fishing party will leave the Spud Lounge early and may be out most of the day. I will be around town all weekend before the KU event.
