Re: Welcome Flory Bidunga
those poor white boys
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Welcome Flory Bidunga
He's going to play soccer for his HS soccer team this year as well so you know he is going to show up in great shape. Love it.

"Bidunga, who plans to also play soccer this season at Kokomo High School (Indiana), moves exceptionally well and plays with constant energy and effort. In the open court, he runs with long strides and great open-court speed. A high-level athlete who possesses strength, bounce and agility, Bidunga is at his best when finishing plays at the rim, rebounding and blocking shots. His shot-blocking range is impressive, as his willingness to seek rebounds outside of his area. His touch is developing as is his go-to move, a left-handed jump-hook on the right block going toward the middle of the paint. He scores with post-up angles inside and he has the hands to catch and score in the high-low game. The next area of improvement will be his face-up game."

i was like Cliff, what, he was short. figured Flory was 7' by that video, i mean he was a man amongst boys, but apparently only 6'8", so yeah, maybe Cliff. those poor kids in the green unis need to eat more spinach or something.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 8:38 am Kewl! I liked this part the best: "Speaking of sprinting, Bidunga changes ends of the floor better than any big in the class. He will get multiple easy looks at the rim simply by beating his man down the floor. "
Here's something from last year: https://theathletic.com/3448190/2022/07 ... ecruiting/

I would be EXTREMELY SURPRISED if Hunter stays for 2 years.
Re: Welcome Flory Bidunga
Do you pronounce it Bah Dung Ah?
i.e. is his nickname BaDunka?

Re: Welcome Flory Bidunga
Hunter isn't an NBA player, so unless he's heading for Europe, I'm not sure where he's going after this season.
Bidunga's doesn't look like a one-and-done.

Re: Welcome Flory Bidunga
High low post could be dynamic with Hunter's touch from 15 ft. and good passing. How about athleticism overdose with KJ and Flory on the floor at the same time? With or without HD, Flory will thrive and the Jayhawks will rule.

Re: Welcome Flory Bidunga
Sure he does. Will he be ready to play in the NBA after one season? Not really. Does he have the athletic tools to get drafted lottery by a team that's willing to secure his right and develop him? Absolutely
