New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.

1. Why do I feel if people answer e, g, or h they might/will be considered "racist" by others on here?
I'll go with d and g.
2. 0. I am in the minority in regards to the company I work for and I feel too many people abuse it.
I would say the average is 5 per year.
3. Potbelly Meatball Sandwich, some white cheddar Pop Corners, some flavor blasted cheddar Goldfish crackers, and a Coke Zero. I am confident the combo was what caused me to have heartburn/indigestion/stomach ache. JUNK!

I honestly had some bad experiences with Chinese people while in NYC as I would be down in Chinatown often for soccer games...but that was over almost ten years living there...( and also I guess could be wrapped up into New Yorkers ).
While in LA for just four days I encountered numerous entitled assholes who went out of their way to let you know how important they were and how important they felt you were. So they're on the list.
Fuck MIZZOU forever.

1- I don’t have strong disdain for any race or group. I tend to judge individuals on their behaviors. That said….. Missourians.
(Excluding Japhy)
2- I have always negotiated a limitless (yet self controlled) vacation/sick policy.
It allows my wife and I the time to take short vacations throughout the year. I very rarely take sick days, and rarely miss work outside of planned time off.
3- Ham and turkey sammich, sweet chili Doritos, water.

1. Missouri, LA
2. depends, for me 0. I'm assuming my wife is still capable of getting sick in this scenario...in which case, I will a sick day or two to help out with the kids and whatnot when she is sick. But, I'm self employed ao it's kind of a moot point really..
3. bake and cheese and roasted red pepper and jalapeño chicken sausage

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

1 - (b) and (i) while I currently reside in Methzoorah, I was born in Los Angeles and have lived in exile for decades.
2. - I pretty much take the day off whenever I want. I am on call 24/7 and after 36 years at this place I have earned a little leeway.
3. - Soy sauce marinaded pork chop grilled with a chili glaze and summer sausage/Chimayo chili infused garlic mashed taters, both sprinkled with fresh cilantro. Dessert is the only thing I didn't cook myself. A strawberry ice cream frozen delight straight from Mexico, made with real cane sugar.

japhy's #3.
While not my thing, makes me wish I appreciated a bigger variety of food than I do.
I would like to see japhy and 99 could get together sometime to enjoy each other's creations.
As far as the LA dislike, I get it. Especially since I said/asked as a whole.
I have shared my feelings. A lot of diversity in Los Angeles but no doubt an abundance of assholes.
Heck, I have a "friend" who comes off as being a HUGE asshole - and he definitely is at times - simply because of his profession and who he deals with. Still doesn't justify it to me.
Those things being said, I still like the majority of Los Angelenos I have dealt with. Native Los Angelenos and transplanted Los Angelenos.

2 for me was a hypothetical ( when I actually had paid sick days ).
Today if i'm sick and don't work I don't get paid -- but I also have unlimited sick days.

1. Chicagoains and Miseryians. Mainly because I've been around them the most I suppose.
2. All of them
3. A pulled pork sandwich, popcorn, and then 2 semi cold pieces of domino's pepperoni pizza (my kids and nephews dinner). Domino's is gross, not sure why kids love it, but at least it's cheap (relatively).

Least favorite persons: conmen and/or people with chips on their shoulders.
I don’t discriminate otherwise.
I only remember one sick day over my fifty plus year working year career.
Burnt ends and potato salad, carrot cake.

Im surprised by the number of people here who don't use their sick days as a 'mental health' day aka just another vacation day.

1. I really don't 'dislike' any group in particular, although when I'm around larger numbers of asian culture, i find their behavior generally rude. For example, in DC, my foot once got ran over 3 times in 5 minutes on the metro, without so much as a 'my bad'. All 3 instances were asian folks. Really, working a job that is one that depends on tips, I dislike non-tippers, regardless of their background. (yes, there are seemingly groups of people that tip better/worse than others).
2. I'd use as many as would not draw suspicion. Why would you not? Work ethic? LOL. Loyalty? LOL. Integrity? LOL. Some companies care about their people. for sure. Some of yours do, I'm sure...but mostly, they don't, and view your interactions as transactional, at best. I'd respond in kind.
3. I skipped dinner, but popped some popcorn in my whirleypop. Delicious.

Re: Gutter's 3 Quick Questions for the Day - 6/11/24
tell your employer to pay you a wage and not rely on us to subsidize the damn wages. I'm paying $6 for a coors light. I don't owe anybody a fucking tip for turning the handle or carrying a plate if noodles to my table. For Christsakes....thats the job! So should I pay my guys $4/hr and tell the clients they need to pay the rest of their wages if they "like the service"? fuck outta here with that nonsense.
(I'm an asshole, yes I still tip, my wife worked in a tip dependent industry for years and over tips dramatically, she hates my take.....I stand by it).

every fucking place asks for tips now too. Gas station cashiers on the pinpad, little fucking caesars....everything.
I did a self serve place the other day, ordered from the kiosk, talked to no one, got my own food.....still asked me for a tip. fuck that
