Re: Gutter's 5 one sentence questions for the 4th of July 2024.
Dumbshit me went to Whole Foods yesterday to buy a couple of pre-seasoned fresh beef burgers that I like.
Dumbshit Whole Foods didn't have any made. A coincidence that they had them advertised as being on sale? - I think not. The old bait and switch I presume.
Dumbshit me decided to buy a pound of ground beef and season my own burgers to cook today.
Dumbshit me didn't think to buy a steak/steaks to grill instead.
Dumbshit me DID realize we have 4 grills on the rooftop. They are not reserved so it's "first come first served". Too often they are all being used at the same time. That leaves me fucked. I end up using a Foreman - which serves its purpose but sucks. Dumbshit me didn't care. Dumbshit me should care.
Moral of my story - I hope you enjoy your steaks!

2. Yes, I will view multiple shows - but not be "AT" a show.
3. I have no fucking clue. I am going to go with 7.925% That number is probably too high.
4. Too many variables. Rain or heat being possible major factors - as would be crowds. I'll still go with a and hope for the best.
5. I have a tiny (probably 5 inches by 7 inches) cloth type material flag and I do not display it outside my home.

Sixty percent of Americans (183 million) have ancestors who lived in America during the Revolutionary War, according to Ancestry.com

They weren’t called Founding “Fathers” for nothing. While they were not busy establishing the most undemocratic system of government and concentrating power to a few, they were very prolific in procreating with their enslaved.KUTradition wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 7:29 am Sixty percent of Americans (183 million) have ancestors who lived in America during the Revolutionary War, according to Ancestry.com

60%? Maybe, but I am not buying that number.KUTradition wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 7:29 am Sixty percent of Americans (183 million) have ancestors who lived in America during the Revolutionary War, according to Ancestry.com

Not sure how accurate the numbers are but I just did minimal research and there were more people living in the "United States" in 1776 than I thought. Supposedly approximately 2.5 million.
There have been supposedly approximately 100 million people who have "immigrated" to the USA since 1776. Which is a lot less than I would have guessed.

Can't help but wonder what if any method of birth control was used - other than "pulling out", and how many woman had abortions.zsn wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 9:35 amThey weren’t called Founding “Fathers” for nothing. Oh, I considered it. That's why I went to the grocery store on the 3rd at about 1:30pm. Any time sooner and my concern was the meat wouldn't be "fresh" 24+ hours later. Or at least as fresh as I would prefer it be. Then again, I am a dumbfuck so maybe it wouldn't have made a huge difference if I went on July 2nd?Overlander wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 12:01 pmDumbshit you never considered that steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs are always in short supply on the 4th?RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 7:16 amDumbshit me went to Whole Foods yesterday to buy a couple of pre-seasoned fresh beef burgers that I like.

Were stairs the Colonial equivalent to Russian windows? I don’t think they cared enough to damage a few stairs.Overlander wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 12:02 pmAre you referring to the colonial method of throwing her down a few flights of stairs?
