I have no real clue about "influencers", and why they are popular, and how they become popular.

I would expect NO ONE other than maybe their family members and friends to care about them.
This is what I have the problem with. I couldn't care less about them until I started to think - I don't get it. Help me to understand.
So.... How did they become popular and why do so many people "follow" them?
If it's simply for entertainment purposes, there are so many other forms of entertainment. In regards to social media, there are so many more interesting people on this planet who share their stories on social media. What is it that these two clowns bring to the table that is so attractive to others?

so many people with not enough to do, while complaining about having too much to do.

bitching because they have nothing, while doing nothing to accomplish anything.

trying to make their millions being YouTube stars doing stupid ass shit or playing video games and when it doesn't happen spending their time sitting in their parents basements posting angry memes about how unfair life is.

I'm sick of the viral video phenomenon.
