1. If someone you are good friends with invited you on an 8 day "luxury" trip to Africa (and you will on a several day safari) but you had to pay $7,000 of the estimated $30,000 of the trip cost per person, would you go?
2. Two parter. Will you / do you plan to watch more than 30 minutes of the....
a. Republican National Convention - Yes or no?
b. Democratic National Convention - Yes or no?
3. If you had to pick a single one of these hours during Monday AND Tuesday AND Wednesday AND Thursday AND Friday (but NOT Saturday and/or Sunday) which is typically your favorite hour of the day?
a. 7:00am to 8:0am
b. 9:00am to 10:00am
c. 12:00pm to 1:00pm
d. 3:00pm to 4:00pm
e. 5:00pm to 6:00pm
f. 8:00pm to 9:00pm
4. What is the tallest building you have been inside (or on top) of?
5. Two parter.
a. What is/was the name of a SCHOOL teacher who had a positive influence on your life?
b. Have you been in touch with that teacher since you have left school?
*** EDIT
Dumbshit me put two b. on the 3rd question. I have fixed it.

New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.

1. No
2. No. No.
3. b
4. Probably WTC 1*
5. Dr Christie. No.
*edit - absolutely this. I didn't know it was the 7th largest building in the world.
I was on the 78th floor which is close to 1,100 feet up...so I've actually been higher when standing on the elevation deck at the Empire State which is 1,250 feet.
2. No. No.

1. No
2. Yes. Yes.
3. 12-1pm
4. Sears Tower (that's what it was called when I was in it, haven't been in it since the same change).
5. None. N/A. (Not a shot at teachers from my HS. I just wasn't into the "school" part of school, and wasn't behaved very well while at school during those years of my life)

1. Safari sounds fun but otherwise not big on “luxury” stuff. 7 grand is a lot for any trip. For 7 grand I could spend like several months touring dive bars, which is way more my speed
2. I’ll prob try to watch it, but a few minutes in have to switch to cartoons, just like I did with the debate
3. D. Love that feeling right after work when you have the most time and freedom in life to do the shit you actually wanna do cuz you’re the furthest away you’ll be all day from the next time you have to go to work again
4. I honestly dunno…how tall is the St. Louis arch?
5. Mr. Pearlman! The gifted ed teacher. Cuz I was a gifted student HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wtf. But yea, he’s since messaged me on social media. I think he’s my only teacher to do so.

1.
Not in the near future but probably would in the next few years - if my health wasn't too much of a concern.
2.
a. Maybe but probably not.
b. Decent chance I may attend part of it. If not, I would say 65/35 chance I will watch 30+ minutes.
3.
TOUGH decision.
None of them are great for me. I will go with 7:00am to 8:00am.
4.
Sears Tower - but never been to the top of it. I have been to the "top" of other VERY tall buildings that aren't as tall as the Sears Tower.
5.
Hard to pick just one. I'll go with Mrs. O'Brien (Pat O'brien's wife at the time).
No

1. Yes
2. No to both
3. b
4. WTC observation deck. I believe it was the next tallest to the building formerly known as Sears Tower
5. Mr H - he’s the reason I’m a professional organic chemist. Met him and his wife in April. Very much in contact with him. Several of my professors, from college and graduate school as well.

1) No
2) I feel like I should, but I don't think I will.
3) F
4) No idea, maybe the Mariott in Times Square
5) Major E. Was a B-17 pilot who was shot down on his last mission and spent the rest of the war in a POW camp. Have not seen him since

Re: Gutter's 5 fairly quick questions for a long week Monday
1. Yes, you don't get that chance often.
2.
a. Republican National Convention - Yes unless the firehose of lies is in full force and my brain short circuits like it did during the last debate.
b. Democratic National Convention - Yes
3. c. 12:00pm to 1:00pm lunch break
4. I really have no idea.
5.
a. Brent Underwood was my 5th grade teacher and the first male teacher I ever had. He was also the first teacher who helped me recognize and manage my ADHD symptoms instead of just punishing me for "misbehaving". Also, he was from St. Louis and I had him as a teacher when the Cardinals played the Brewers in the '82 World Series so we did a whole section on baseball and the World Series and he rolled a TV into class so we could watch the games (since the World Series was just played whenever instead of being in Primetime TV back in those days).
b. Have you been in touch with that teacher since you have left school? No but now that you mention it, I am going to google him and track him down and see if I can find an email for him.
