If you don't have a child/children - please respond as if you do have a child/children.
1. Your child is going to be a professional athlete.
If you could choose what professional sports team that is NOT in or closest to your home town your child would play for, which sport and team would you choose?
2. If you had to name your child either a day of the week or a month, which day of the week or month would you name it?
3. Think of your child or one of your children. What was your favorite age of your child? Meaning, you liked/loved it most when your child was 1, or 2, or 3, or 4, or 5, etc.
4. If I were to say a pretty well known professional athlete once said, "Child Please".
a. Do you know which athlete I am talking about? Yes or no?
B. Do you know what he/she meant by it? Yes or no?
DO NOT PUT THE PERSON AND WHAT THEY MEANT BY IT IN YOUR ANSWER/S
5. Your child is 9 years old and his/her first week of school is coming up in late August or early September. Your child must support a "cause" the first week of school and wear a t-shirt in support of that "cause" for the entire week. You get to choose what shirt your child wears and it must be one of the shirts below. Which of the following do you choose?
a.
b.
c.
d.
e.
f.
g.
h.
i.

1. Kansas Jayhawks....oh, are we not counting KU athletes as pros? If not, then pro golfers for son and daughter. Maybe pro volleyball player for my daughter if that exists?
2. June for Daughter. August for son.
3. Can't pick one age since they are different ages....but the most fun stage so far seems to be that 5-12ish range. Sorry, that didn't answer your question. Mine are 7 and 10, these ages are very fun.
4. No. No.
5. Catch Up with Jesus

1. Major sport I don’t know off top of my head. I’d assess where I thought my kid’s professional ceiling was, and try to determine the most likely duration and therefore earning potential of that kid. If I believed they were a 3-5 year journeyman, with less than capped contract(s) my answer would be different than believing they’d sign some kind of ‘mega’ deal where the local influence on taxes, etc wouldn’t be as great. So, as a parent, I don’t have enough info to make this ‘choice’.
2. May
3. 10
4. Yes yes
5. I’d make a new one saying ‘division’ is my least favorite math.

2. Probably August if it was a dude and April if it was a chick.
3. 9
4. yes. yes.
5. COME ON! How could you not go with j./I Love Midget Porn?

1. USA Swimming. I want to go the Olympics. Swimmers go to great colleges and finish their degrees usually. They don't swim forever, so they can have a somewhat normal life and yet their childhood is not gymnastics crazy, either. Swimming is low on injuries and a nice blend of personal and team achievement. I am not in it for the money or fame.
2. Augustus is a name. I know a kid with this name. Gus works.
3. Maybe around 7. Such sponges for info and experiences, but definitely their own personality too. 20 has been great with all the worldly thoughts and adventures. But you said kid.
4. no clue
5. I am not choosing for a 9 year old, though I reserve the right to "approve." I am sure the BLM or gay rights shirt would be chosen.

I will say if my kid wanted to wear e i'd go full Psych on them.
You can play the world's most popular sport, i'll fully support that, but I draw the line if you want to support MIZZOU.

I wonder what percentage of the money KU gives to Missouri for playing at Areowhead will as a result end up supporting Mizzou

It bothers me a lot, and when I’ve mentioned it here, it’s always been shrugged off.

That's not a selling point. We're Americans, not the rest of the world.
