Gutter's 5 Thoughts And 1 Gutterism For National Day Of Forgiveness, Corned Beef Hash Day, and Crush a Can Day 9/27/24

1. I really want to ask some questions today but I said I was going to stop and I am being a man of my word/s. For now.

2. In honor of national blah blah blah day and the title/subject of this post and thread....
I try and forgive people but if someone crushes a can and leaves it on the street instead of throwing it in a garbage can (or recycle bin), then I can't forgive them, but I'll still go ahead and eat some Corned Beef Hash if someone gives it to me (free ;) ).

3. My memory is typically shot but I seem to somewhat recall MANY years ago (I think spring of 1989) when I was in Maui, someone told me that there were no car wash places on the island and no bagel bakery. If true, it's interesting because I just looked and there are indeed multiple car wash places and there are bagel bakeries. I had no money at the time but I can't help but think both would be valuable businesses to start if they didn't exist in 1989.

4. I just realized I don't know who won the Cowboys/Giants game last night. Without looking, I am going to guess the Cowboys won 27-17. I only care because I have Malik Nabers on my Crimson.com fantasy team. I'm going to guess he got me 9 points or less last night. I am anxious to go check when I am done with this post.

5. Right before I made this post I looked and it seems the weather in the Chicago area is not going to be good the next 72 hours. That kind of sucks. That's it. That's all I have for my #5 thought.

Gutterism for the day.....
To those who say, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth", I say - DO look a gift horse in the mouth.
I believe it's a sign of respect and I believe the gift horse appreciates it.

Cowboys did in fact win last night. I didn't watch but saw it on my phone.
20-15 over the worst team in the NFL
