I’m so tired of this “uncertainty surrounding the program” bullshit.
DMac and Och were fall semester freshmen when it started. At this rate, they’ll have degrees before the ncaa is done.
Agreed. If it's going to be a postseason ban, I would just prefer it be announced now so fans can adjust expectations and staff can begin recruiting for The Time After.
It's absurd that Oklahoma State had no idea if they were going to be able to play in the tournament this year because they received no guidance whatsoever from the NCAA.
"So, which one of these topics are conspiracy?
1 .911 was done by Israel: okay, if you think that one is conspiracy, I'll just leave that one alone."

KU chose the longer route, but the smarter route in the end. Unlike some schools, they pushed for the case to be decided by an independent review panel instead of the NCAA itself. That way, the decision is final, neither side can appeal, and it gives KU a better chance of avoiding major penalties since the NCAA lost the trial in the first place.

Were I a conspiracy theorist, I would note that a 2021-22 postseason ban announced in September 2021 is significantly more damaging than a 2021-22 postseason ban announced now.

i know it’s not a huge loss for the program, but i’m kinda surprised so many here are ok with him going elsewhere in conference...particularly tejas
is it the beard effect?
would there had been more negativity if he had joined shaka's staff instead?
I don’t think so, because recruiting has flagged and what we do on the court has stagnated. It just doesn’t register as a big loss.

Mostly, I just tend to think if Bill absolutely wanted him to stay here, then he would still be here.
Otherwise, I did read this rumor last week when Beard announced and the fit makes sense for Snacks. It's a new program and quite different to me if he left to join Shaka whom was on very thin ice.

Wish it had been this year to be honest.
Rallying to beat Eastern Washington only to get smacked around by USC wasn't worth holding on to.

I'm with you on the going to UT part of it. Not good.

All the more reason to replace him with a stud national recruiter.

Does Adidas still have one of those assigned to Kansas?
Kind of telling Self wasn't willing or didn't feel the need to promote Snacks up over Norm or KT. Unless KT does more behind the scenes that we are unaware of it should be telling by that alone what Self thought of Snacks.
I've read on numerous boards that Danny didn't really recruit here so I would take him if Self forced either Norm or KT out. If he doesn't do that then I would pass on Danny for a young, hungry upcoming assistant who is a great recruiter.
