Depends on situation, for me. If Yesufu isn't very good, and won't be by year's end, then you have to run Harris out there.
Yesefu is very good. so is Remy. and Harris is still going to play a lot. Dajuan is just the perfect point guard role player and is going to make us a lot better team, based on more than just what he does individually

Do you have to? I know Self will run him out there, but not sure he's the only option.

Well if Yesufu isn't ready, only other option I can see is rotating in JCL and having Remy play Devonte'-type minutes. Probably not the scenario we imagined with this many players.

Yeah, to be clear, Self will play Harris but I'd much prefer Remy get Graham-type minutes.

The biggest reason Graham got Graham minutes is cuz he was our only real PG that year.

This year, with so many options at guard, I kinda doubt anyone will be expected for 40+ minutes every night

And also because we got options, I think if Harris does get big minutes, it’ll be cuz he’s improved the facets of his game to warrant as much.

One of the issues is that Yesufu is really, really small. So, fine against your directional Utahs and whatever. If he can't credibly switch against real teams, though, that's a problem.

I agree that 6ft 180 is not absurdly small.

The issue is that he ain't 6ft.

What a stupid comment. Just throw the jersey on the sixteenth row of the Earthquakes and Natural Disasters class in Budig 120, in that case. It'll be fine.

Yeah, and neither was Frank. But, the good news is that, like Frank, he should be able to make up for it with great athleticism and strength.

But, just a wild card right now. Seems like such a huge range of what we could get out of him.

Obviously I love Frank. But he's the exception, not the rule.

Yesufu dunked over a dude.
I know Frank had an alley oop dunk once - but I'm pretty sure he never dunked over anyone.

I think Harris is really underrated based on the comments here. He's becoming one of my favorite players... Time to hit up pdub...

He's becoming one of your favorite players based on his play last season, a comment from Self, and what you saw at Late Night? OK, I guess.

I'm great with him being a rotation piece.

Was not ok with not recruiting over him for a starter position.

Yes, all the above. I like the quickness, the extra possessions, the decision making (at least, when he finally started shooting when wide open), his creativity with passing, and the ball-on-a-string handle. And his smirk-face.

Defensive ability/versatility is going to determine how much Yesufu plays.

It's entirely possible 1 of Harris Remy Yesufu plays very little meaningful minutes. If JCL is in the rotation, it seems like it's more likely to come at the expense of the above group rather than less minutes for Wilson Och or CB.
