but who glorified it?

seriously, make a coherent argument supported by actual facts and evidence or gtfo with your pseudo hot takes

There are two people on the sidewalk.
Person A holds up a sign and chants something over and over.
Person B throws a bottle at police officers and smashes a window.

Person A = OK.
Person B = bad.

News reports that person A was protesting. News also reports that person B rioted and looted.

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo took the stand Monday in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the fired police officer charged in George Floyd's death. He testified Chauvin's actions violated Minneapolis police policy.
Arradondo testified there was an "initial reasonableness in trying to just get [Floyd] under control" in the first few seconds of the encounter. But when Floyd had stopped resisting and "clearly when Mr. Floyd was no longer responsive and even motionless, to continue to apply that level of force to a person prone out, hands cuffed behind their back, that in no way, shape or form is anything that is by policy," Arradondo said. "It's not part of our training and it's certainly not part of our ethics or values."

Sorry but I find this to be very misguided.
Yes, the kid was shot by a cop BUT the 13 year old kid was out at 2:30am hanging out with a 20 something year old gang banger and both ALLEGEDLY had guns - at least one that was ALLEGEDLY fired. Both ALLEGEDLY tried to flee the police. Much different circumstances than the George Floyd situation.

 Can it be reasonably inferred that Floyd’s ingestion of Fentanyl MIGHT have had a minor role in his death?
(Devil’s advocate here)

Do you mean, IF the flow of oxygen to his brain hadn't been extinguished?

It depends on how much the Fentanyl contributed beforehand. (The invisible factor)

Does it?

Doesn’t Floyd tell the cops he’s having a medical emergency? And rather than treat it as a medical emergency and administer first aid, cops kneel on his neck.

BTW the police use-of-force trainer just testified cops are trained to stay away from the neck...

I mean, what if he had had pneumonia, or asthma, or this happened at high elevation but the victim was from sea level, or had just finished a grueling exercise?

I mean, any of those would have contributed to the death caused by having someone kneel on you for that long....none of those would excuse it, so I'm not sure why a drug would excuse the behavior either.

If I shot a person with hemophilia, and they died, I'd still be the one who killed them, even if the hemophilia contributed.

We both know he is not going to walk. You just have to keep pimping that narrative to keep the hate flowing. You should listen to what charles barclay had to say during the final four. Stop dividing.

Yeah, I don't see Chauvin walking out. No way. He's getting manslaughter at minimum.
