The reason there are legal limitations on an individual’s freedom of speech is exactly that: falsely yelling FIRE in a crowded theater gets people killed.

We are in an exceedingly dangerous place right now, with a monstrously influential dipshit with effectively unlimited resources (to say nothing of practical power) convincing the randies of the world that there should be no legal restraints on knowingly telling and amplifying lies.
