A bunch of you all suffer from trump derangement syndrome. You've been programmed to hate him, but you aren't even exactly sure why. Then when asked about it, you source things about trump that are no different than any of these other politicians

Why would/should there have been "federal funding to build a proper uniform wall"?randylahey wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 4:23 pm The wall never happened. There was never federal funding to build a proper uniform wall. Walls work. Vgr gets it

Considering the way the fed tosses money around all over the world. I can't see a single argument why federal funding that wall wouldn't have been a good move

How many employers did Trump punish? i would post source upon source about the hundreds of miles of wall that your hero’s administration has built, some of which was directly paid for by federal money
but, of course you’ll make excuses and move the goal posts like a child because you either willfully ignorant about the truth, or too embarrassed to just admit you’re wrong
you’re fucking broken
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

1. If you believe what you state is true, tell me, is this also true - to as large if not an even larger degree?
Many people suffer from Trump derangement syndrome. They have been programed to love him but they aren't exactly sure why. Then when asked about it, they "source" things up about Trump that are 100% false and/or shameful.
2. I'll accept that I suffer from "Trump derangement syndrome".
I have NOT been programed to hate him. I have disliked the man for the past 40 years. NO ONE "programed" me to dislike him. I disliked him all on my own for my own reasons.
Through the years I grew to dislike him even more.
When he first announced he was running for President I was hoping it was a gimmick. Hillary may have been a terrible candidate and Democratic nominee but for her to lose to him, I'm slightly surprised she didn't kill herself. I will never forget telling my mother in October of 2016 that I think Trump will beat her. I am confident a considerable % of his votes were more anti-Hillary than they were pro-Trump.
Anyways, I am 100% sure why I dislike him. Sure, I can "source" things I don't like about him that are no different than other politicians but do you feel two wrongs make a right and those things about him should be ignored because other politicians did them? I don't.
I can also "source" a bunch of things about him that I dislike that are different than other politicians.
Fuck Donald Trump.

Re: Robert f Kennedy jr
There are thousands of VERY specific reasons why I hate him. They have been detailed ad nauseum here. None of these other politicians have had dozens of cases of sexual assaults, some against minors. None of these other politicians made their living ripping off American workers the way Trump has. GTFO with your stupidity.randylahey wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 6:08 pm A bunch of you all suffer from trump derangement syndrome. Better than an entire length of a half assed wall, which is what any wall along a 1,000+ mile stretch of mostly uninhabited land would be.

Desperate to bolster his record as election season approaches, Joe Biden is shouting from the rooftops about his handling of the economy. But even with the welcome news that inflation has dropped to 3 per cent and equities rallying, Americans aren’t convinced. His approval rating is at 41 per cent, close to the lowest level of his presidency – and the economy remains the number one issue.
Oblivious and tone deaf to these concerns, as usual, Biden has been trumpeting his economic victories. His critics respond with a litany of policy failures and missed opportunities that have left ordinary working Americans anxious for their finances. The inflation rate was just over 1 per cent when Biden took office; it peaked at 9 per cent last June, the highest level in four decades.
And while inflation has slowed, the price of staple goods is still soaring. Bread shot up nearly 12 per cent, frozen vegetables 17 per cent, baby formula and rents 8 per cent. While Biden brags about his record, families are struggling to feed their children. It’s no wonder Americans think the USA is heading in the wrong direction.
Part of the blame falls on Biden’s heavy-handed regulation, which has piled vast cost onto American businesses. Another might be attributed to mounting Government debt, which has soared past $32 trillion. The threat of increased taxation as the ranks of the IRS swell is creating a lingering sense of dread.
Biden can claim little credit for what has gone well. His “Inflation Reduction Act” was effectively a borrow and spend package pouring tax credits into so-called “green” technologies. While it’s likely to add $750 billion to the nation’s debt over the next decade, the University of Pennsylvania found that its impact on inflation was “statistically indistinguishable from zero”. The only real result in the near term is that it’s likely to slightly decrease short-term economic growth; at least something was reduced.
Wherever you turn, Biden’s calamitous presidency is turning into an American horror story. Reading and math scores are at their lowest levels in decades. Worker productivity is plummeting while drug overdose deaths reach record highs. Crime has people living their daily lives in fear.
And what’s Biden’s response to this? To tout his achievements. To preen about his record. Like so much else about his shameless presidency, his economic messaging is utterly out of touch with reality. It is almost unbelievable that this shambling mess is viewed as a re-electable candidate.

Eh, what? They don't increase the amount of taxation because they hired more IRS resources. They increase the amount of people who have to ACTUALLY PAY WHAT THEY OWE.
And we have covered the costs of groceries on here a thousand times so it's clear you just aren't reading anything that anyone else posts.
Re: Robert f Kennedy jr
Describing this administration as a "calamitous presidency [that] is turning into an American horror story," and then turning to drug overdose and crime scaremongering, does not fill me with confidence as to the objectivity of the author and the soundness of his/her analysis.
