My son has flag football games on Saturdays mornings and my daughter does cheerleading for JFL games in the afternoons.

I'll be watching though. Should be an awesome early season atmosphere for KU to play in.

Way too early for me to tell/feel how good or bad a team is. I have zero idea about Illinois. Giving it a few seconds of thought, I can't name more than 5 players on the team and 2 of those players I only know because they are nephews of people I am friends with.
If I had to bet on the game, I would take KU minus the 6.

No, no, no. What I was referring to is/was.... The only "app" I have used when betting on games is FanDuel, and FanDuel (and probably it's the state of Illinois rule/law) doesn't allow people in Illinois to wager on college teams from the state of Illinois.

Illinois is pissed about last year. Will be hitting up past the whistle. Will be at home in a rare sellout. Have some guys who have been in college longer than Bluto. This is the one game I have circled as most difficult. They have spent a year fuming.

ticket prices don't really indicate a sell out. but I know nothing about this. Hotel prices indicate a busy Champaign.

I'm still deciding whether or not I want to go.

A group of guys I worked with while at KU ('91 start) are meeting up in Hannibal. It's mid-point of all of our locales, or thereabouts. I chose not to go to this, as the ding bats booked an airbnb with 4 bed, and there are going to be 8 dudes. I have no interest not sleeping in a bed, as I have some decent level back issues if not careful. But, I'd like to see everyone, and Hannibal is right on way home from Champaign.

It'll be a great atmosphere for a college game. A lot of Illinois fans dislike KU due to Self, even though this is football. Illinois new(ish) coach has interest in the program on the rise.

How many guys do they have returning?
I could be very wrong but my guess is 95% of their players probably give less of a shit about losing to Kansas last season than they care about their other 6 losses.
