Because one has bad outcomes frequently and one almost never does.randylahey wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 5:13 pm Yes its documented that both covid cases and vaccinations tend to have good outcomes. And its documented that there can be bad outcomes to both too. You just made my argument for me. So why force people to inject one directly into their system under those circumstances? Let them choose
You keep sighting 1% of people with covid die as the only number that matters.
Well, 1% is a lot lot lot more than 0.0000000001% which is about the likelihood of dying from the vaccine.
You're 10 orders of magnitude more likely to die from the virus than the vaccine. No one made your argument for you. You just don't understand numbers.
You should really just quit.
If the choice is between something that could kill you 1% of the time, and had no benefit, or something that could save your life, or someone else close to you and had a 0.0000000001% of killing you, the choice is pretty obvious. I mean, would you rather have a 1% chance at a free car or a 0.0000000001% chance...I'll let you choose.
But that's the point. Just because there is a choice it doesn't mean there isn't a correct choice. A toddler might prefer a nickel over a $100 bill because it's shiny, but given the choice the $100 is the better option.
