He was just giving an honest assessment.

I don't think anything he said was unreasonable or untrue.

ousdahl wrote: Thu Aug 15, 2024 12:36 pm you weren't just answering the question tho. You also threw in those little shots about "simple situations," and are now doubling down on "basic adult life scenarios."

I wouldn't say it hurts my feelings, nor would I say it has any bearing on what I think of myself.

It's more that I just think such pettiness is cringe.
the question was about problem solving aptitude, which, through your posting of various threads previously mentioned, you have demonstrated you struggle with over and over again. I'm not doubling down or being petty, I'm explaining my selection. I stand by it.

Adults shouldn’t use cringe as it’s colloquially used now.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I use it to make fun of my teens. Is that acceptable?

I literally use literally. But they're not teens anymore.

Either it’s not acceptable, or it’s like a shameless quadrupling down so low we’ve now fallen to “vocabulary smack talk” levels of pettiness.

1. lemon meringue if it is a good one (not too sweet). I would be happy with any except the key lime.
2. I have been around aperies all my life and have zero fear of bees. I can't remember ever getting stung, but I am sure I have been. I do remember getting stung by wasps. Those mothers hurt.
3. martha knows business. Some others do too. But she has the whole package and would be fun.
4. 3 that are not automatic
5. twocoach scores well

Was gonna put in the other thread, but the other day this bumble babe coined the term “spicy sky raisins” to describe the bees that attacked her dog, and I’m thinking it might be my new band name
