Hindsight 20/20.
( with that said, because of the risk of injury with Boogie, compared to little history of injury with Marcus, without dollar values, then yes, Marcus the better signing, but Boogie signed for 3 mill and Marcus signed for 15 mill and Lakers were already over the cap )

Giannis is a better NBA player than FIBA player.
That's all.

Kawhi Leonard's sister killed an 84 year old woman for her purse.
I know what I would like to post on here but I'm not interested in reading the responses - so I'll refrain from commenting.

What the fuck does that have to do with anything here?

Let me guess...the 84 year old woman was a good friend of your mother?

A lot of disadvantaged kids play ball. A lot of privileged nuts don’t. We are a flawed species, evidence of this abounds every day.

I have a hard time getting too exercised about this; not like we sent even our JV squad.

I would argue that, for basketball fans, it is a good thing that the USA's JV squad can't compete with the other top teams in the world. Hasn't always been like that.

it’s always bothered me that many of the teams that represent the US aren’t adequate reflections of the actual talent level in the US

These days, me too but I'll tell you a little secret. I'm one of the guys who originally was 100% against NBA players playing in the olympics. The Olympics were supposed to be for the best AMATEUR athletes in the world to compete against each other. I liked the olympics better when that was the case.

I think the Olympics should be the nations absolute best regardless of being paid or not.
That's what the original ( waaaay back, not before the modern revival ) Olympics were.

If Pop was Russian and this was the 60's or 70's - He would have been sent to Serbia.
